Common Questions
How Much Does Deer Processing Cost?
$100 per deer, flat. Size does not matter and every standard cut on the cut sheet is included. Caping for a shoulder mount is an optional add-on.
Do You Grind Burger or Make Sausage?
Grinding and sausage are not offered. We cut steaks, roasts and whole cuts, and any trim is bagged for you so you can grind it at home or take it to your sausage maker.
How Is the Meat Packaged?
Everything comes back in freezer bags, sorted by cut. You pick the steak thickness and how many portions go in each bag on your cut sheet.
Do I Need to Register My Deer First?
Yes. Wisconsin requires you to register your deer through GameReg by 5 p.m. the day after you recover it. Bring your confirmation number (it starts with W) to drop-off, or add it when you book.
Can I Drop Off More Than One Deer?
Yes. Add each deer when you book and give each one its own cut sheet, or copy the first one with one tap.
